Berlin Trip, day 1 - Arriving

Thea and I went to Copenhagen airport around 12:30 PM, it was really good timing, since we are usually late for everything, but we had good time to do everything we wanted to after we checked in at the airport.

Airport
(on our way to the airport)

We had something to eat, bought some magazines and looked in the different stores before walking to the gate to go on the plane. It didn’t take much longer than 45 minutes to get to Schönefeld airport in Berlin and we found a cap in no time, which drove us to our hotel on Warschauer Strasse, not far away from everything central.

When we open the door to our hotel room, I guess you could say that we were pretty surprised. Everything looked really nice and comfy, and it was really clean! The bathroom was really great too!

nightstand
(my messy night stand, woops)

We got settled with our clothes in the closet and a few things on our nightstands, and then we went out to find dinner. We knew that we had seen a few Burger King Restaurants on our way, but couldn’t seem to find any of them, so we just kept walking! I guess we walked around 4 kilometers before we found a McDonalds and finally got something to eat! We didn’t really dare to eat anywhere else yet, because some of the places looked kind of nasty, ha.

On our way home we found, to our amazement, a 24h open supermarket, we went inside and bought some Junk Food and these really really great energy drinks called Relentless! Unfortunately we don’t have them in Denmark, therefore we made sure to buy a shit load of them, and so we could bring some of them with us to Denmark.

(playing 500)

When we got home, we ate crisps, played 500(a card game) and watched Viva TV. At around 11 PM this really fucked up cartoon came on, we had never in our lives seen something so trippy and fucked up, but it was hilarious! It’s called Drawn Together, unfortunately it was dubbed in German, but we promised each other, that when we came home we’d find the English version on the internet!

We didn’t do much else the first night, we still could not believe that Tuesday; we’d see Black Veil Brides, our favorite band, once again!

The post about Tuesday (including Black Veil Brides LIVE) will be posted soon, stay tuned!
